Raph, very few people died here, but down farther south I believe 14 died, very tragic. You never feel more alive though, thinking a tornados coming and could hit at any moment. I've been directly in 4, one of course was way worse than the others, but I refuse to be scared of that sort of thing. It gets your blood going thats for sure.

No, it wasn't that bad thankfully, but usually you don't see dust in the sky here, it was enough to make it look like there was a cirrus overcast,but it was dust, and the visibility was reduced a bit( most people probably saw it and just assumed it was fog) really it is more concerning for the future, I do hope the high plains start getting rains soon or this problem will just get worse next winter with the winds loosening more soil.
I remember the first time I heard the sirens go off up here way back in '96 and it is a surreal feeling, there have been many close calls and small tornadoes in town( for some reason they pick on the south end of town it seems like) and it is a unique thing to feel. I am not scared by them either, mainly because I know that the statistics are in my favor and honestly lightning concerns me more than anything, but at the same time I know to pay attention to them when the warnings are issued because there is always that chance. I am also blessed that I live where we have a sturdy basement should the worst happen.

Well I called the airline and they said all that I need is the itinerary that they e-mailed me, so even though the price line one wouldn't print off right I was able to get the Delta one to, so I printed four :ntongue:

Yea the deal I got wasnt too bad all together it wasn't much over 500$ for a round trip, and I was able to pay that and have almost all of my return left! (since I have been trying to save since feb. even though it looked grim at the time)  So now I have two months to keep my head low and keep saving and hopefully it is all pretty much in place, PANDORA here I come!!

605, That means a lot man  thank you, I am blessed to have great friends that have helped me to get to a point to where I can do this, something that I would have never thought I would be doing, I am really glad that my parents understand how much I want to do this(especially my mom) , I really hope I succed in this as it will help give me some confidence in the future, I now just have to try and stay calm at work as it seems that every week that goes by it gets harder and harder out there( even the store manager took an early retirement and left last week) so it is very stressful there lol.
I really just can't wait to be at the hotel finally getting to meet and hang out with you guys and to share this Avatar experience together.
