This also makes me wonder what the life span of an Ikran is to that of a Na'vi?

Like I know most animals on earth age faster then humans, some more so than others, although there are exeptions like some tortises, It would be nice if they had a similar life span so you and your Ikran could have the chance to age together, rather then if they had a shorter life span, or vise versa where if the Ikran lived much longer and would have to live on with out his/her Na'vi companion.

I'm going to read a couple books I have and see if this is discussed at all because I'm very curious now.
