Well I hope everybody has a great Christmas

I would say that what I would like for Christmas, other than the obivous( you know Neytiri under the tree ) would be just to have it off of work to be able to spend it with family and as a plus it would be nice to have a bit of snow :)

Very nice thread ma tsmukan. I wish to also be off so I may spend it with my family, and I hope people remember the reason for the season and it's not Santa.

It's a great time to give to others, I know a woman who's giving up her Christmas to take dolls to an orphanage in Haiti so that they may have a little something this year, may god bless that woman with a truly selfless act. She lives several hours away and it's not real cost effective for me to send her dolls but money I can do so that she can buy them. If anyone would like to help her PM me and I'll get you in contact with her as well.

I'm blessed to have a home, loving family, a job, among other things, honestly can't ask for me. Also thankful to my good friends I have on here and that I've met because of avatar and the avatar forums. Love you guys.

^ I really wish I could like that, man I am very greateful for my friends and family too and that I found you guys. Great to hear about the woman that does that with the dolls, there really are some awesome people out there. I think with any extra money I have this year I will give it to the church that I go to, they always are good at helping people out that need it.

I find it rewarding too knowing you're helping other people, there's always people with less than us even if we don't have much.

Thats very true, I am truley blessed to have what I got, I know last night coming from from grabbing dinner we witnessed what looked like a house on fire :/, we saw the flames and it looked pretty bad, thankfully on the local news this morning it was said the the fire had only burnt the garage and they were able to save the rest of house, so I am glad that the family still has their home.

that would be horrible. everything can be taken away so quickly I learned first hand from the tornado.

Sorry you had to go through that brother :(, I am glad youre safe man, yea nothing is guaranteed in life we just have to make the best of what we have and be kind and stick by our tsmukan.

I appreciate that but it's all good man...I didn't lose my home and many people couldn't say the same.

i am going to visit some family in Iowa on the 19th, so won't be around the net for a while, as they are true country folk out in the sticks. no internet, no cable, just the occasional newspaper...and they like it like that! just to give you some perspective on how far out we are in the sticks there, the closest Wal-mart is 130 miles away in Davenport. :shock:

Hope you have a good time with your family Ja'k And I hope you have a safe journey there and back from Virgina :) I am so spoiled by the internet, having an extened period of time where I couldn't look at weather maps and such would be hard, although slowing down and getting away form everything is appealing too ;)

Ah, thats a good question! Def. Neytiri, because while living as a Na'vi I wouldn't be able to look at weather maps and such, but I would get to experience weather in a way I would never be able to at home on Earth, and be able to share my love of the sky with her. Playing with Neytiri in a pandoran rainstorm...

Irayo, yea that is one thing that I think I have realized is that after having so much pain and trouble trying to go to college for weather and feeling miserable about the math that I couldn't get, ect. that I think I would love to live a lifestyle where I could 'live the weather" if that makes sense, being able to enjoy it everyday, and Avatar was right up that ally in a sense.
