News on Avatar 2, 3 AND 4

So it seems JC is getting help with writing the scripts for the 3 films. Can't wait to see what develops! Though this article states Avatar 2 won't be out until December 2016! Three more years to go then...:!:

I am very glad that it looks like thi gs are getting serious, but yes the 2016 thing... Is going to make it a long wait, I seen something that was mentioned on AF that would be nice, if JCdecided to release a even fuller completed original Avatar movie to theaters, to kind of get people back into it and but it back in the spotlight, that may just be wishfully thinking, but it would help with the wait so much!

I read about that on Thursday, I am both thrilled and very sad. 3 years is even longer, but a fourth movie is worth it.

Yea I know, the extra year is tough... Man it is going to be so exciting when it gets here.

I guess it'll be an extra year to save up my money for the billion times I'll go to the  theatre  (and buy all the Avatar related stuff)

Yea, it will be another year to speculate and have fun(hopefully JC will do something to throw the fans a bone while we wait, like re-releasing the original in theaters or something)

Such a long wait, but we are going to get three Avatar films in three years...can you guys even imagine that!?!? That will be sweet.

It's staggering to think the sequel will be 7 full years later, that's a long time.
But the 'romantic' side of me actually finds this intriguing. It'll be so much time past by then, it already has been now, nearly 4 years, unbelievable, so it will be a whole new experience, and somehow I also believe the fact we ourselves will all be seven years older and had a lot of things happened in our lives since we first saw AVATAR, will make it interesting aswell. We will be back on Pandora sort of 'grown' together with the story and the film being created.

That is a really cool way of thinking about it ma tsmukan  When we finally get thee it will be so amazing, I can't wait to share the experience with you guys, the sequels are gong to be so much better, because now there will be tsmukan with us for the journey :D

You know, it seems like a sequel "trend" for James Cameron...I think Terminator 2 was released about 6 or 7 yrs after the first Terminator, and now the same will happen again with Avatar 2. Maybe that time span is a lucky one for JC? After all, Terminator 2 was a HUGE hit, so hopefully Avatar 2, 3 & 4 will be huge hits too. 

^that sounds like a good theory  just can't wait for it to finally be here! That is true, I ythink I actually remember T2 more than the original.
