We all have some Na'vi in us!
This is for us to tell each other what they think is the most "Na'vi" part of themselves:) It doesn't even have to be anything major, for example, if you like grilled foods, since the Na'vi likely cook all thier meat over open fire, that would be something you would have in common, I think we all have something that is Na'vi about us:D

Re: We all have some Na'vi in us!
I would say that the most Na'vi trait that I have is the fascination I have with the weather, weather is something that I truely enjoy and it is something that is part of the natural world, I enjoy watching and experiencing all types of weather and storms that blow through my region( hence my username:)) I believe that since the Na'vi are very attuned to thier natural world, they would also be very attuned to the weather that is around them. Other than that I would say that my likeing of grilled foods would be something else that is Na'vi about me, there is just something about cooking something on a fire that makes it taste so good, IMO :)

i have to say that The Avatar Experience has woken up the inner Na'vi in me, and changed my worldly perspective. it is something that is lasting, and profoundly moving, not some phase or mere words.

^ I like that too, for me I would say it helped to bring out a like for nature more, by that I mean that I have always loved weather, but I never thought of myself as a Nature person( even though l like to be outside, and fish, and part of that is my fear of bees) but after seeing Avatar I realized I do love nature( other than the bee's lol) and my favorite part of nature happens to be weather, I hope that makes sense:)

Re: We all have some Na'vi in us!
I am on board with Ja'k...and the main thing about the Na'vi for me is their connectedness. The respect and gratitude they are able to show towards each other and towards all other living beings.
On the one hand the absence of this trait is a major issue for our world today, on the other hand it is inside all of us and even if people are pretending they are not interested, they feel that need to be connected as well. In some way or the other.
Individualism tries to destroy this elemental human trait in all of us. It is kinda ironic, because only when we're in groups, trusting each other, being their for each other, relying on each other are we really strong and able to achieve anything.

^ very good and deep thought -Mi'niri-, glad to be able to read it :)
I think we have def. lost a balance of being individuals, and yet staying connected our brothers, I think it is good to be individual to an extent, to be free to be who we are ect, but at the same time we need to stay connected to others, and I fear we have grown too isolated from oneanother to the point we have lost the empathy for our fellow brother/sisters, you see it in the news everyday, people who don't even seem to know how to take care of thier children, I mean if people aren't worried about their own young just imagine how unnattached they must be to the rest of thier tsmukan/tsmuke:(

is it possible for individualism and group connectedness to coexist and compliment each other?
