Re: Pandora - A Spud's Customs project
I go through little bouts where I really want to work on Iknimaya and then other times I want to focus on figures. Its really hard to work on both simultaneously because it takes a completely different mindset to work on each respectively. When I finish Mo'at, I'll finish Eytukan then I may take a break from figures to work on Iknimaya because that'll be a good pause point for the figures. I've actually done quite a bit on Iknimaya since you saw it last I just haven't gotten any pics of it in awhile.

Re: Pandora - A Spud's Customs project
Thanks man. :)
I have completed Mo'at's shall top and I did her queue as well where is splits and goes over each shoulder to join in the front at her chest. It turned out amazing. I'm now working on her hair which I am again using embroidery thread for. It will take a couple of layers to give it the body it needs to be movie accurate so I'll make sure I take pictures of the process for you guys.

Re: Pandora - A Spud's Customs project
Ok all the difficult and challenging tasks related to Mo'at are complete. Now its just down to details work like her bracelets and the other part of her headdress that hangs down in front.
Here's some shots of her hair, loincloth, and finished shall.
I am extremely pleased with this figure so far. :)

Re: Pandora - A Spud's Customs project
Mo'at is now complete. :)
These pictures still show the two strands in front as unpainted but they are painted now so she is done. I have to say that this is probably my greatest accomplishment since Hiyik, both of them. ;)
Hope you guys like her.
I LOVE THIS FIGURE!!!! :D

Thanks guys. :)
I already have Eytukan painted, have for quite awhile but last night I took off his hair in preparation to redo it with embroidery thread.

Re: Pandora - A Spud's Customs project
So Eytukan is looking pretty bitchin' I must say. I got all the painting done on his loincloth and shoulder ornamentation and I'm about halfway through with his hair and it looks so much better than the factory hair. I'm so glad that I decided to not just go with the factory hair. I still have to make his earrings out of wire and make the beaded strands coming down from his torso wrap to his loincloth. With any luck I should have him finished tonight. I've been taking pictures as I go along so I'll have to get those posted for you guys. :)

Re: Pandora - A Spud's Customs project
Eytukan
Here's some pics of Eytukan both finished and during his transformation. I redid his hair and some accessories. Like all my customs he had to start out bald. Then I had to take some ears from a Tsu'tey figure since his were molded into his factory hair.
I was also painting his clothing as I was going along.
They make a great pair. :)
THE CLAN IS EPIC AND STILL GROWING!!!!!
Today I started another female Na'vi character who will be named Kina which in Na'vi translates to "seven" and since she is the 7th female Na'vi I've made its very fitting. I'm basing her off the Na'vi that is behind Grace when she gets disconnected after the destruction of Hometree. I'd post a screenshot but I can't find one.
