NFL season!!!

I finally went to the doctor, I have bronchitis, on antibiotics, cough medicine, and an inhaler lol. Hopefully will feel better soon.

Cowboys lost another one today aghhh!

^ Sorry to hear that man, I had that a few years ago and it sucks, I ended up passing out with a fever after being sick with it for two weeks and not knowing what was going on, thankfully after they gave me the anitbiotics I got better. Hope you get better soon brother.

You guys did try to come back near the end of that game, sorry to hear about the loss, we have to play Denver on Sunday, but just 9 days to go before I get to see my team in person :)

^ exaclty, yea I knew I was going to become a bit of a hypochondriac(sp?) a bit before the game and now it is just over a week away, so it is gettng real close :) Early indications are that the weather may not be that bad either, so that will be a plus( although( and yes I may be nuts) I was kind of hopeing it would be a little cold, to have that "football" weather feel) as it stands now it might be a really mild day, but it is still just over a week away so it could still change.

Tomorrow we "play" the Broncos, are just one of those football teams I love to hate, lol( my apologies to any Broncos fans on the forum) so tomorrow probably won't be a "good" football day for me, lol.

Yea they played when I was at work, then I got home and Dad broke the news to me, lol, 1 and 10 now :/. Oh, well just 6 more days to wait until I get to see them in person, the Panthers aren't doing too well this season either, so maybe they are saving thier overdue win for the day I go( at least that's my theory;))

The weathers supposed to be nice too for that day, it may be in the 60's

I am really starting to get excited now as it is just days away!! We are planning on tailgating before the game, and now the local met that I watch is saying it will be 70 degrees on Sunday! I may get to go in shorts to a December game, lol.

I am glad you are feeling better, I hate being sick to, when I had bronchitis I didn't know what I had until the end of the two week period since I just thought it was a cold that wouldn't go away and I didn't get checked out until I blacked out, lol.

Dang you blacked out? I didn't know bronchitis was even serious I'd never had it, was starting to think I had pneumonia again and I felt so bad is why I went to the doctor, I'm glad I went for sure.

Yea, that is what the hospital said I had anyway, so I guess I took thier word for it, I had a cough and a fever that lasted about a week, then at the end of that week it started going away, but the cough stayed, well a few days later it was still going on and when I was at work( I try not to call in ever) I noticed that my fever was coming back( I never had a cold/flu where my fever would go away only to come back a few days later). Well that night after work I was so miserable I went to sleep on the loveseat we have and I made my mistake of not drinking any water, the next morning I got up was still feeling sick with fever(btw apologies if this is turning into a novel) so I went to sit on the chair and turned on the T.V., then suddenly I felt like I was going to vomit, so I headed to the kichen and before I got there I noticed everything was getting blurry and dark( I have never passed out before) so my first thought was that I was going blind, that scared the sh!t out of me, then I remember waking up on the floor covered in sweat with my mom trying to wake me. Afther I was taken to the hospital and given fluid through an IV they gave me the antibiotics and I was fine, they basically said I had gotten dehydrated and to drink gatorade when I am sick to keep my electrolites up.

That was back in 2009 (Sep.). As long as there is no blacking out this weekend! only two more days to go!!!( and only one more work day) until I watch my Chiefs, hopefully beat the Carolina Cam Newton's

Wow Chiefs LB Javon Belcher killed his gf then went to the Chiefs practice facility and killed himself today...I don't even know what to say, my prayers with everyone involved that's so tragic.

I just woke up and my brother broke the news to me, very sad indeed, God be with them :( :(

Yea, they are playing, so I will be there, but these are not the circumstances I was thinking of :( :( I know personally I don't think I could do a game a day after something like that, all I can do is pray for them and support them any way I can.

Yea I am feeling better this morning, still feel "stuffy" in my chest, but I don't have that "sick dizzy" feeling anymore, up at 6 am in Red :) We will be heading out around 8 to 8:30 am. Irayo for asking

Back from K.C. was an amazing experience! Had a blast, the Chiefs pulled together in what had to have been tough to go through to WIN against the Carolina Cam Newton's 27 to 21!

The weather was unbelievable, got to around 70 degrees, didn't feel like december at all, I would say the neatest part of the whole thing was tailgating before the game, watching fans throwing footballs back and fourth, playing beer pong in the parking lot, and grilling :) :)

Then after the game, hi fiveing a total stranger in celebrating thw win of our team :cheers:
