Re: The Sky!
Now we missed a severe storm just by a few miles to the south, thankfully we missed the golf ball sized hail and 75mph winds, but once again we get wind and just enough rain to wet the pavement, lol, as the storm grazed us though there was some really neat clouds.

Well with the rain that we have had over the past two weeks, we are out of the mod. Drought :), although it looks like down to my south they are getting WAY too much, hopefully the bad stuff is staying away from you Wameyn and you get a chance to dry out brother.

Here are some pics of a storm that fell apart as it tried to move in, and one pic of the sky at sunrise that day, when a little rain was moving in, it rained twice that day but we only got a tenth of an inch or so.

Re: The Sky!
Sunday morning we got hit by one heck of a storm, we lost about half of a tree in our back yard, snapping a power pole, and leaving a line down in our back yard, we were with out power for about 7 hours and I don't know if our cherry tree will make it as the big tree fell on it.

Re: The Sky!
Yea, it is fun for the weather nut at least the roads here never got too bad, a little ice is kind of cool as it does make things look neat, but as long as we don't have any major ice storms, but one thing that I have noticed around here is years that don't have much ice, we usually don't have any, and years that produce bigger ice events usually produce several icings, so this concerns me a bit.
Other than that, what I think is funny, when the weather was " boring" I wasnt getting much hours, now that it has become more exciting I have been working 6 day weeks, lol.

.... COLD!! 13F with a wind chill of -2F right now, had a skif of snow last night but may have more Sunday, looks like you will be getting a snow down there Wameyn, at least I think the ice will even be south of you, so you won't have to worry about that, now time to make sure my Ikran is staying warm

Re: The Sky!
stay safe ma tsmukan, yea it looks like you will get your first accumulating snow before we do. As of 2 pm we were still at 18F with a wind chill of 3F, walking home with out a stocking cap was kind of painful, lol but yes you dodged a bullet as they are talking ice storm to your south, I for one have had enough cutting up logs from mother natures tantrums this summer, so I feel for them.
