Glad you are having some good weather tsmukan :) it will just be a matter of time before it snows, at least a little when I am not trapped wokring :) ( there was someone at work from California and he was really excited!)

BTW it is cold this morning, the red numbers are the temps F.(STJ is not showing on this map but we are "officially" 13F this morning! brrr)

Woke up this morning at it is near 64 degrees at my house before sunrise!!! in December!

^ Yea we hit the lower 70's yesterday too, KC hit 74 to tie the warmest Dec. temp EVER for them! After a cold front today will "only" be near 60 lol :)

Yea but the cold air is just sitting up there in the dark of the pole... waiting, scheming, building... I think it comes down at least once this winter, old man winter is just trying to make us soft;)

As much as I love the warm we def need it to be cold for awhile this winter to kill bugs if for nothing else.

Yea do need some normal weather around here for sure, the bit of rain that we have gotten over the last several weeks (up here anyway) isn't enough to begin to turn the drought around, and warmer weather means higher evaporation rates than normal, and I do love snow, I would be great to have a little around Christmas for sure, what I think is funny is that we have more green grass now than we did in July and August,lol.

We did a a bit of rain today... while I was at work, I noticed it when I went to clean the parking lot at work the lot was wet. Supposed to get a good cold blast on Sunday... may have wind chills here close to 0F on Monday morning!! brrrr

it's been rainy down here all day, nothing major just light rain, still warm and nice though!

^ yea you guys have been getting some more rain with this pattern, it passes us with a sprinkle, or a light shower or two and then the storms expand as they move south and east of us, I'm not sure about southern Mo., but up here I think the drought will go through next summer:/ This is a good cold front coming tomorrow though!

Yep... it may not get above 32 here on Monday! they are also talking lower teens up here on Mon. morning with a breeze they say our Wind chills my get to 0 to +10F early Monday morning!! Then we will be back to 50 by Wed. though, lol.

yuck! Sunday will be 50 and Tuesday 47 so we are only getting hit with a cold day Monday, I can deal with that if I have to haha.

yea we will probably have another cold blast just after the end of the week though. It will be amazing to go from 70+ one Monday, to haveing Wind Chills near 0 the next Monday!

Well, blame our geography, with flat land( more or less) from the Canadian arctic, to the warm Gulf coast, so nothing to stop the airmasses from playing 'catch me if you can", lol.

I personnally kind of like how it is for the fact that if you are around here long enough you get to "sample" many different climates because every year can be so variable. Forest Gump would have said that our weather is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.

There is a chance we could get a little bit of snow on Wed. night! Would be nice to have a bit of snow to fall on Christmas week, so we will see, not only thatI entered a "snowflake contest" for a KC TV station about a month ago predicting when the first one inch would fall in KC, a picked the 20th of Dec. then and that is this thrusday!

O.K. tonights a night weather nuts like me live for, a strong strenghening storm system is moving in from the west, we look to maybe get 4 to 6 inches of snow, with very strong winds they have Blizzards warnings all the way down to Andrew County, which is the county just north of mine( St. joe is as far north in Buchanan as you can get anyway). That being said, I hope everybody is safe and drives carefully, I LOVE the snowstorms, but don't like seeing people get hurt. Right now we have been having some rain, and even some lightning and thunder earlier!

It's 63 degrees right now, I'm chilling with shorts on and with the windows up and we have a 50% chance for snow tomorrow. I'd be fine with it never snowing again. lol

Well you will have some snow showers, but the big thing down there will be the wind tomorrow, you will notice the change, we could get 50mph gusts with our snow early tomorrow morning!
