The Sky!

Yea after about 2pm yesterday it picked up pretty good! We stayed at 66/67 degrees all the way until 4 am! Looks like you guys have some heavy storms going through. We had a little rain and thunder this morning, and they are saying we could get 2 to 4 inches of snow tonight and be down to 4 degrees Fri. morning... 73 to 4, wow

wow the weather can change so quickly! glad for the rain down here we can use it for sure, I don't want another draught this year.

^ Yea it is getting better down there, up here it is still a struggle to get a good soaking( KC finally got near an inch of rain) but we had much less. We do however have about 2inches of snow on the ground now and its still snowing a bit but that still is probably less than a quarter inch of moisture, still amazing we were 73 less than 48 hours ago and now the ground is white.

Irayo yea sometimes living in Missouri is like traveling from the tropics to a northern area with out having to leave town :) Yea there was too much icy spots on the sidewalk to run home after work, but it still is nice to have some snow on the ground... tomorrow night we may get close to 0F... brrr( I had to bring my soda off the back porch and put some in the fridge on Sunday night because it was getting to warm and now I will likely have to pull it inside because it will freeze on the porch, lol.

WOW. Those pictures are amazing man... So strange it's like you're closed up in a 'sphere' of snowy clouds, it must feel surreal, Snow is such a cool thing when it does that in the sky...

the icycles and the sun shining through the clouds were taken the day after when even colder air was moving in, that night our official low hit 0F!

While we are having some pretty nice weather, right now sunny and in the upper 40's, there has been a huge blizzard out on the northeast coast, I saw this time lapse camera from Boston that I thought was cool so here it is ( if it works for me, lol)

Well it has just started to snow here they are saying we could get 10 to 15 inches of snow!!! with thundersnow possible going to be an interesting day.

It's like, by now I've already got into the 'waiting for Spring mood', as it's nearly March now and here it gets warmer already.

But if something like that happened here, I'd be so excited, so nice to wait for the snow to come, and also to know it will be a lot! Nice to just go out there and listen to the flakes... Have fun mate hope you enjoy it all Weather man ;)

Very chilly here today! We just had some icy rain :) Closest we got to some snow here this year is tonight ^_^

@Wind12. Hell yeah man! That's like 18 centimeters of snow o.o in 3 hours wow, that should set hopefully and stay a couple of days, do you reckon? =)

All we got was ice here, luckily it's melted away today :)

In the sky though a couple of Blackhawks flew over low on Saturday.

Arond here we have C130's that fly around alot since there is an airport that the airforce uses on the west side of town( Rosecrannes).

Cold and windy today after we had a few days of melting the near foot of snow we had on the ground, we needed the moisture though. Hopefully we have finally turned the corner of the drought in these parts and will get decent spring rains.

Very cool, no C130s here, however the B2 Stealth Bombers fly over quite a bit in the summer, Id imagine you see them a bit too being as they are based out of Whiteman AFB.

I hope you are right buddy, all this moisture has been good, hopefully you guys are getting some more rain tonight same as us! ;)

^ I bet that is neat to see, actually I don't think I have ever seen any of the B2's flying over us, but we do see alot of the C130's though, we even went to the airport on a school field trip back in elementary school and I think we were allowed in the back of one years ago.

My dad was stationed at Whiteman when he was in the Air Force back in the early 80's.

Yea we did get that good rain event too after all the snow had melted, and then we had a big warm up, we hit 82F on Friday! and then it was only 42 yesterday and now it is 30F, lol.

I hope you are doing well too brother, hopefully when I get my income taxes back I can get one of my laptops back running.

Nice warm and humid today already near 70F! but going to have an interesting night and a cold tomorrow, look at that front! ( the small red numbers are temps in F)

Well I don't know if I can post picks with this on here :(, I am fine until I have to highlight the middle line to copy it I can't get the line highlighted, I can get part of it but never the whole thing, is there a trick I don't know about?

If I can find out how to get pics off my iPad on here I do have some snow pics from yesterday morning, we go about an inch of snow on the 23rd of April!!
Today is a sunny chilly day with the last of the snow of the season melting on my back porch, time for some shorts weather now.
